Throughout the school year and during the ongoing monthly professional development, teachers participating in The 21st Century Engaged Classroom will receive a core set of technological tools for their classroom to enhance their educational environment.
The Engaged Classroom Teacher Trainer receives the following items for their classroom:

The Two Engaged Classroom Teacher Trainees receives the following items for their classroom:

Two teachers will be designated as teacher trainees
(Adjust this group to include 5-8 teachers to prepare for the first wave of laptops for students. Grades 5-8 are slated to receive laptops beginning the 2010-2011 school year)

Teacher trainers will be responsible to mentor the two teacher trainees on how to use and integrate the new technology tools as well as how to implement 21st Century teaching strategies in their classroom. Teacher trainees do not attend the initial 4-day training nor do they attend the monthly inservices.
