Requirements of Norton Community Schools 21st Century Engaged Classroom
One Engaged Classroom Teacher Trainer Professional Development requirements:
Signed participation agreement
Mentor two teacher trainees throughout the school year
Attend 4 days of off track or summer training (no subs provided)/$??? stipend
Participate in 5 monthly / 3 hour after school trainings during the school year to receive technology tools
Participate in 2 area collaboration meetings
Log additional hours throughout the year on completing assigned tasks
Create classroom Wikipage/Portfolio and post monthly reflections about engaged classroom and collaboration with two teacher trainees
Develop Lesson Plan and show examples of student work
Complete classroom observation/discussion with Technology Coordinator.
Provide an overview to K-3 teachers in conjunction with the digital camera received (elementary only)
Present at 1 faculty meetings during the school year
Complete all project tasks by due dates
$??? participation stipend paid in two increments during the school year
Two Engaged Classroom Teacher Trainees Professional Development requirements:
